Madeira, Portugal.

Brno is the second city of the Czech Republic, and the capital of the region of Moravia. With a population of just under 400,000, it is much smaller than Prague, and is a friendlier, less crowded, and more relaxed city.

Brno lies in the central part of Europe and it is the second largest city in the Czech Republic. It represents the center of the province of Moravia. Brno is situated in a picturesque countryside, surrounded on three sides by wooded hills and opening to the Southern Moravian lowlands to the south of the city. The city is guarded by the foothills of the Drahany and Bohemian-Moravian ranges in the North.

Brno lies closer to Vienna than it does to Prague and looking back in history it has always been a strategically important crossroads for trade and culture. Mozart played here as a child, and Napeoleon won a decisive victory at Austerlitz outside Brno in 1805.
